Babes replaced a clutch, flywheel, rear main seal and brake master and slave cylinder on our sons 2007 Ford Ranger. Cost and service were excellent. The following week an oil leak was noticed from the new rear main seal so we followed up with Babes. They scheduled an appointment only a few days later and replaced the rear main seal under their parts guarantee at no cost to us. Any other shop would have told us to go kick rocks or charged for another replacement. We are happy to report our son has a reliable vehicle once again. We highly recommend Babes and appreciate their service and integrity!

I've been dealing with my van and it's repairs for over 3 months with another company... Dates kept getting pushed and canceled... They even had my van for 2 full days to just do a two hour job... I said enough is enough and switched mechanics... Babes is who I chose and they are awesome... They got me in the following week... Did their checks... Told me to come back the next to do the work... Unfortunately my transmission blew before the next day... I live in my van... It is my home... When called to tell them I might need to be towed... I asked if I could stay in my van for the night there... They had no issues with that... I live/work 75 minutes away from their shop... They were so kind and understanding of my situation... That they let me use their courtesy car well they had the van... I was able to take out what I needed from my van... So I could have peace of mind in getting to work and having a secure space to rest at night... In 6 days they got everything done, this also included the wait for unexpected transmission repair (there was a weekend in there, too)... You may have to pay a little more, but trust me it's all worth it... My van feels like the day I drove off the lot with it... The staff are also amazing... Everyone I interacted with was polite... One even offered to help move some of my belongings back into my van... I highly recommend them for all your mechanical needs...

I broke down in radium, towed my car to Nelson, Alberta plates an all It sounds like that start of a terrible country song and there is a great story in between it all; but this is about Babes. I received great care from them. Dropped it off after hours on a Saturday, they got to working on it by Tuesday. (I called around the whole region in BC and they were the only ones to fit me in within a month, every other shop was 3 weeks or longer). They sourced the parts for me, had them in by Thursday and completed the work by Monday morning. So a ten day turnaround for a 2014 VW golf TDi manual in the middle of the mountains is impressive. The cost was in line with what was expected, especially with location, and they prepared with the extra dual mass fly wheel if needed (which was not thank god). The car has run great since, the clutch works wonderfully and I couldn't have been happier with the service I received. I wouldn't recommended breaking down in the mountains, BUT if you do...it may be best to give Babes a call if you are within that 350 km tow range with your premium CAA... or the 388 km from Radium. Can't say enough good things about the service and help i received.

We presented babes automotive with a nightmare job. The previous owners left us with a snapped glow plug with a drill bit snapped inside that - a babushka doll if you will. They were very professional and friendly, definitely recommend these guys to any prospective clients :)

I have been taking my vehicles to Babe’s for many years, and they really know their stuff! They kept my 81 Corvette on the road and took her under their wing when no other mechanic or shop I could find would touch her. They are great with classic cars. They even fixed a Corvair!! My partner and I have been having trouble finding a place that was willing to repair glow plugs for our diesel van with confidence and at a reasonable price. Babe's got us in right away to do diagnostics, provided a thorough and comprehensible report (with photos!), and advised us on every scenario and necessary services that would ensure the best outcome for our van. We live in our van, and Babe's was incredibly accommodating and did whatever they could to get us back in our home. Thank you so much everybody at Babe's! Your entire team was so nice, tolerated our many questions and fur babies, and got us back on the road, more safe and in better condition than we arrived :) We will definitely be back in the future for our vehicle needs! (sorry ;) )
